Watson talks Brady, Pats
Patriots tight end Benjamin Watson was on ESPN's "First Take" today. During the ESPN interview, Watson was asked about quarterback Tom Brady and his recovery from last year's season-ending knee injury, the outlook for the offense in 2009 and whom to watch among New England's rookie defenders.
Watson was very upbeat when asked how Brady has looked so far.
"Definitely, Tom has looked great," said Watson. "He works really hard. He's a great leader on our team. He's definitely poised to come back and have a great year. Like we say in New England you got to take it one day at a time, and every day is different, every year is different. I know he's looking forward to being out there. We're looking forward to having him back."
Mike Reiss, Christopher L. Gasper and the rest of the Globe team provide regular updates –and a behind-the-scenes look– on the daily happenings of the Patriots.

That's the best you could come up with? A lead in simply describing that Watson was on a show, and a synopsis of what he said, followed by what he said? Wow, hardcore work man! Keep up the diligence!
I don't know what Ben Watson is talking about. I mean, Tom Brady is not perceived to be the younger brother of our beloved Bobby Orr anymore. It's almost as though some evil scientist of human genetics was able to transform the Tom Brady we all knew and loved into the Bruno of the NFL. I don't know about you people reading this post, however, I hate Bruno and everthing that degenerate represents in our society. I'm not saying Tom can't reconstruct his DNA code to what it was in the earlier part of the decade, but the next several weeks will be the determining factor.
I want the 2004 Tom Brady back in NE.
