Posted by Mike Reiss, Globe Staff August 9, 2009 07:30 AM

    1. Why so many with the raiders? I though Al Davis accused Belichick of cheating

    1. Because Belichick calls Al "Mr. Davis". Al desperately wants to believe that people still respect him.

    1. Since the Patriots are getting players from Oakland, why don't they try and get Michael Bush. He was second behind Adrian Peterson as the best RB coming out of college but torn is ACL and missed is last sean with Louisville. How long are they going to be able to keep him behind Darran McFadden????
They also have a good ILB in Kirk Morrison, who is a free agent next season and would be a good pickup for Patriots.

    1. Hay Steeler Fan you had better concentrate on what the Steelers are going to need next year. Super Bowl teams get broken up pretty quick in the salary cap era. Stick to your own board Benadick Arnold.

    1. #9 u are just a hater..... Every time I make a comment, u always hate. I am suggesting that since Patriots are getting Raider players, why not get more. I wish we would pick up players but we usually don't but when we acquire players, like in the past like Jerome Bettis and James Farrior, it usually works out. . Every patriot fan I know personally, has nothing but good things to say about the Steelers. We are really not arch rivals, so go hate on Dolphin, Jets and Buffalo fans. We lose more great players to Free Agency than any other team...Plaxico Burris, Joey Porter, Randel El, Alan Fanaca....and more.
      Don't worry, I am not going anywhere.....lol

    1. You can't insult the Steelers after what they've done.

They've always been good and Colbert is excellent at what he does.

Up there with Belichick and Polian as best in the biz.

    1. Steelers Fan,

Out of genuine curiosity why do you come to this post?

    1. Jeffrey G....I already answered this many times. I really enjoy Mike Reiss articles.
The Steelers only provide a once a week live chat, which is hard to get ur questions answered becos of so many people online. I have Patriot fans in my family and think its just another great organization like my Steelers...I would never comment on other teams websites like the Ravens, Bengles or Browns ..and also the Eagles....I never have anything bad to say about the Patriots, only my opinion..
I loved the Pats draft and like the signing of Burgess. Most fans from other teams, would come in here and talk garbage...I am not like that...

    1. Hay Steeler Fan go find a friend. May be in Pittsburgh. Kind of pathetic you have no blogs to attend ala the Steelers so you come to the greatest team of the decade to get your fix.

    1. Personally, I don't like steeler's fan. He is too likable and I don't want to like anything that has to do with the Steelers. They ARE an arch enemy!

    1. Steelers fan, you might find fewer people riled up about your posts if you used a different username. Maybe your real name or your initials or something. Your posts are pretty reasonable, but you have to realize that you're just painting a big target on your back when you post that you're a steelers fan.

    1. Brother Mark, I respectfully disagree: If the roles were reversed, and New England had no forum of this ilk, and I needed to CyberCommute to Pittsburgh, in order to get my Football Fix, I can PROMISE you: I would go in there with Red White and Blue BLAZING!!!

Listen...If a guy wears the Black and Gold at Razor Blade Field and starts screaming that the Patriots suck...Well, I hope, in my heart, that my fellow Yankees ~ that is: my fellow New England Natives ~ would have the character, the sense of honor...and the courtesy...to pound that scumbag into a PUDDLE...

But if the same guy shows up at Razor Blade and merely roots on his OWN guys, without dissing OURS ~ which is the difference between Good and Evil, thank you very much! ~ I hope that those same fans will give him props for coming into enemy territory, and REPRESENTING, as the courteous Yanks we ARE...Hell, even buy'm a BEER or three...unless of course the Steelers WIN, in which case: See Above! ;p

      * In other words: the only guys who're gonna Hate on Steeler Fan for being here are CHUMPS. The difference between being a True Fan and being an Hater is the difference between Black and White. And those who can't tell the difference simply don't MATTER.
