Tuesday schedule

Posted by Mike Reiss, Globe Staff August 25, 2009 06:00 AM

The Patriots are approaching this week like the regular season. They are back at work today as they prepare for Friday's preseason game against the Redskins.

"This gives us a chance to work on our weekly preparations, getting used to the scouting reports, the different cut-ups, the different ways we break down our opponents and get into more of a weekly preparations schedule, as opposed to a training camp practice routine that we’ve been in for several weeks," coach Bill Belichick said.

"It’s a little bit of a transition week here for all of us. Obviously, there are still a lot of other things going on as we prepare for not just this game but the start of the season and the opener. There’re a number of balls up in the air, but a lot of attention this week on the Redskins."

Today's schedule:

  • 11:10 a.m. -- Media access to locker room
  • 11:10 a.m. (approx) -- Tom Brady Q&A
  • 1:15 p.m. -- Media access to practice

    1. Hi Mike,

Are going with the team to Washington? can you name those players who really needs to step up to secure their spot in the 53 man roster.. i.e, haven't heard about Leigh Bodden, only his missed tackles are you sure he is a lock with the team or do we see a Fernando Bryant 2.0 in the making..

    1. You are the moron here, i am not asking for you opinion but can you say that eventhough he is the starting corner, hasn't he made plays for the team yet? the thing is we had the same situation last year with Fernando Bryant and for all we know we eventually cut him before the regular season because of his production in the preseason. So how can you say that he will start based on how he played and as we all know he hasn't showed any at the moment.. can you get my point you genius dickhead..
