Tight end Benjamin Watson and linebacker Paris Lenon -- two players yet to participate in preseason action -- were among the first Patriots on the field to warm up before tonight's game. Both are stretching and running near the hashmarks in the center of the field.
Watson in particular has worked up quite a sweat (see the video at right). He jogged all over the field before joining tight end David Thomas and wide receiver Terrence Nunn to reel in passes from backup quarterback Kevin O'Connell.
Also spotted on the field among early stretchers: Linebacker Tedy Bruschi. It will be interesting to see is a starter at inside linebacker if the Patriots open in a 3-4 defense. Bruschi is listed as the starter opposite Jerod Mayo in the game's expected (yet very unofficial) starting lineups.
