Cutdown deadline
The official deadline for teams to reduce rosters to 53 players is 6 p.m., Eastern time.
In the past, the Patriots have not announced their moves right at the deadline. So in terms of an expected time in which the information will be released, around 7 p.m. would be the projection.

Mike - any word about the A.J. Feely rumor? Adam Schefter is reporting it won't happen.
How come most other site have the deadline at 4PM?
Interesting stories on ESPN, looks like both the Giants and the Redskins are also only going to carry 2 quarterbacks on their 53 man rosters. Looks like Bill has started a new trend.
How accurate has Adam Schefter been in the past with his reports?
Ah, but the Bucs are going to (ahem) Buc the trend and carry four.
Chimpy, the Colts have been going with only two quarterbacks for years.
Galloway, Crable and Weatley out with the last two possible PUP/IR. Nunn, Ventrone are in for now...
There is one big factor in favor of AJ Feeley and that is that BB loves guys who kill the Patriots when we play them. Feeley has played way over his head against the Pats and that is in his favor - same as Greg Lewis, Welker and others previously.
Working against that is the immediate need to protect several young players with a spot on the 53. I think the Pats need the spot right now and won't rush out for anyone, only someone they really want to have. They might wait a game or two, until injuries open a spot. Right now protection of young players could be on the top of the list. BB hates to give away young players who might have a good future, as they are hard to find, you go through a lot of draft picks and UDFA's to find them.
Hey Mike,
is there any reason to think that Jarvis Green will get cut, I have a feeling he is bound to the Cut List......Let me Know what you think!!!!!
Jim, Adam Schefter is usually very reliable.
