Last week: Kenny Perry won the Buick Open for his second victory of the year.
Of note: K.J. Choi, who won the Sony Open in Hawaii in January, tops the field along with Steve Stricker, Jim Furyk, Masters champion Trevor Immelman, Charles Howell, Rocco Mediate, Paul Goydos, and local favorite Fred Funk . . . Three British Open spots are at stake. Two positions will be determined by a six-event money race and another spot is available for the leading nonexempt player among the top 10 and ties at Congressional.

Schedule: Tomorrow-Sunday.
Purse: $1.7 million. Winner's share: $255,000.
Television: Channel 4 (Saturday, 1:30-3 p.m.; Sunday, 1-3 p.m.).
Last year: University of Arkansas star Stacy Lewis won the inaugural tournament, an unofficial victory after the event was cut to 18 holes because of rain. She shot a 65.
Last week: Two weeks away from her 20th birthday, South Korea's Inbee Park became the youngest US Women's Open winner, closing with a 2-under 71 as everyone around her faded away at Interlachen.
Of note: Lewis tied for third at Interlachen in her professional debut, closing with a 78 after taking a one-stroke lead into the final round . . . Park is in the field along with Paula Creamer, Cristie Kerr, Morgan Pressel, and Natalie Gulbis . . . Lorena Ochoa and Annika Sorenstam are skipping the tournament.

CHAMPIONS

Last year: R.W. Eaks won the first-year event for his first Champions Tour title.
Last week: Loren Roberts won for the first time this season.
Of note: En-Joie was the site of the PGA Tour's now-defunct B.C. Open from 1971-2005. Craig Stadler, in the field this week, won the 2003 B.C. Open to become the first player to win a PGA Tour event while a member of the Champions Tour.

Event:
European Open
Site: The London Golf Club, Heritage Course (7,257 yards, par 72), Ash, England.
Schedule: Today-Sunday.
Purse: $4.78 million. Winner's share: $797,465.
Television: Golf Channel (today-Sunday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.).
Last year: Colin Montgomerie won for the first time since the 2005 Hong Kong Open.
Last week: Spanish rookie Pablo Larrazabal won the French Open for his first European Tour title.
Of note: Sergio Garcia and British Open champion Padraig Harrington top the field along with Montgomerie, Niclas Fasth, Justin Rose, Darren Clarke, David Howell, Robert Karlsson, Paul McGinley, and Ian Poulter.
