CROMWELL, Conn. -- Not much to report here, with a second weather delay suspending play at the Travelers Championship. The first delay, which began at 12:50 p.m., lasted 70 minutes. The second delay started at 3:19 p.m., with rain falling and lightning still in the area. We might be done for the day.

Fredrik Jacobson remains the leader. He shot a 66 today, and has completed 36 holes at 9 under par. He has a one-stroke advantage on Nathan Green and Charley Hoffman, neither of which has finished their second round.

In a pairing that brought together the last three major champions, US Open winner Webb Simpson (69), PGA champion Keegan Bradley (68), and Masters winner Bubba Watson (71) will all make the cut. Simpson is 5 under, Bradley 4 under, Watson 3 under.

10:45 a.m.: A familiar name has worked his way to the top of the leader board at the Travelers Championship. It's where Fredrik Jacobson ended last year's event.

Jacobson, the only player to reach 7 under in the first round before a late double bogey dropped him to a 5-under-par 65, is 4 under through 11 holes at TPC River Highlands midway through the second round. His 9-under total leads Tim Clark by one. Clark is 4 under on his round and has played 12 holes.

Jacobson's only PGA Tour win came here last year. The last back-to-back Travelers winner was Phil Mickelson (2001-02).

First-round leader David Mathis is tied with Charlie Wi and Tommy Gainey at 6 under. Mathis is even on his day through 13 holes (he just doubled the 13th), while Wi has the round of the day going. He's 6 under through 14 holes.

The supergroup of major champions has played eight holes, with mixed results. New US Open champion Webb Simpson is 1 under on his round and 5 under overall. Keegan Bradley, the reigning PGA champion who graduated from Hopkinton High, is also 1 under on his round and 3 under for the tournament, which ties him with Masters winner Bubba Watson, who is 1 over for the day.
