Next negotiations: None scheduled.
In the news: For the third straight day, the NHL and the players’ association discussed secondary issues unrelated to the core economics at the root of the lockout. On Sunday, the sides again talked about drug testing, health and safety issues, medical care, along with items in the collective bargaining agreement’s legal area on player movement. The sides won’t meet on Monday, as the NHL plans to have internal discussions with its clubs. Negotiations could resume on Tuesday.
