For those looking for the ultimate “ALS Ice Bucket Challenge,” NHL player Paul Bissonnette raised the bar higher than perhaps anyone else.
The free agent forward accepted the challenge from former Coyotes teammate Keith Yandle, and to say he went all out would be a severe understatement.
With the help of high-definition cameras, a helicopter, glacier water, and a Speedo, Bissonnette completed the challenge and set a pretty high standard.
Bissonnette also called out some pretty impressive names to take the challenge: LeBron James, Aaron Rodgers, and Russell Wilson.
The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge was started to raise awareness about ALS, also known as “Lou Gehrig’s Disease,” a deadly disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. There is currently no known cure for ALS.
