The Lightning remained 1 point ahead of Philadelphia and 2 in front of the Bruins for first place in the conference with 99 points. Martin St. Louis picked up three assists to give him 89 points, tops in the NHL, and a franchise high for the Lightning.
Tampa Bay, which had lost four of five games, also took a 5-point lead on the Leafs.
The Maple Leafs fell 3 points behind Boston for first in the Northeast Division.
Flyers 4, Hurricanes 2 -- Branko Radivojevic had a goal and an assist, and Simon Gagne also scored to lead Philadelphia over host Carolina.Carolina was eliminated from playoff contention when the Islanders beat the Capitals.

Brodeur made 21 saves to improve his career record to 400-215-105 in 12 seasons.

Mighty Ducks 4, Predators 1 -- Sandis Ozolinsh had a power-play goal and Petr Sykora also scored, and visiting Anaheim beat Nashville for its fourth victory in five games.
Penguins 5, Rangers 2 -- Lasse Pirjeta had two goals and an assist and Jean-Sebastien Aubin made 35 saves as Pittsburgh defeated host New York, which lost its seventh straight.![]()
