At 9:06 of last night's third period, when Detroit defenseman Jonathan Ericsson was called for a holding penalty during a 2-2 match, Red Wings coach Mike Babcock did what seems elementary. The Detroit bench boss sent out defenseman Nicklas Lidstrom and center Henrik Zetterberg, perhaps his two best all-around players, to kill the penalty. (Full article: 798 words)
