Mike Richards and Jeff Carter scored two goals apiece and rookie David Laliberte and Scott Hartnell also tallied, leading the Flyers to a 6-2 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning last night in Philadelphia.

The Flyers (7-4-1) have scored 12 goals in the last two games, and won for the fourth time in their last six. Goalie Ray Emery stopped 26 shots.
Despite leading the team in goals this season, Richards had gone six games without scoring. His first goal came off a feed from Chris Pronger, who corralled a bouncing puck. Pronger has recorded at least one point in eight straight games. Carter had gone seven games without scoring.
James van Riemsdyk, the former University of New Hampshire standout, contributed three assists for the first 3-point night of his career. He leads all rookies in scoring.
Islanders 3, Oilers 1 - Brendan Witt posted his first two-goal game in a 14-year NHL career and veteran forward Doug Weight added two assists as New York stretched its winning streak to four games, defeating visiting Edmonton.
Witt, a defenseman, scored his first two goals of the season in the second period. He has only 25 in his 862-game career and had gone 92 contests since his previous goal on Jan. 22, 2008.
Former Edmonton goalie Dwayne Roloson made 22 saves to improve to 4-0-1 in his last five starts.
Kings 5, Coyotes 3 - Drew Doughty scored the go-ahead goal with 4:51 remaining and Los Angeles rallied for a road win over Phoenix.
