Chris Kelly scored all three goals for Ottawa, including the tiebreaking tally late in the third period of the Senators’ 3-1 victory over the Rangers last night in New York.

Kelly snapped a 1-1 tie off a feed from Jarkko Ruutu in front of the right post. The center flipped the puck over goalie Henrik Lundqvist’s right shoulder with 2:24 remaining. Kelly completed the hat trick with an empty-net goal in the final second of the game.

Kelly, who doubled his season goal total to six, gave Ottawa a 1-0 lead in the second period with a shorthanded score.

Coyotes 3, Ducks 0 — Ilya Bryzgalov shut out his former team for the third time since leaving Anaheim, Taylor Pyatt scored on a deflection, and Shane Doan connected during a power play to lead visiting Phoenix.

Blues 3, Canucks 2 — Alexander Steen scored his second goal 6:11 into the third period and added an assist to help visiting St. Louis snap a five-game losing streak.

Flyers 3, Islanders 2 — Daniel Briere scored the tiebreaking goal with 5:44 left and Philadelphia held on to beat host New York.

Blackhawks 4, Flames 2 — Dave Bolland scored two power-play goals to lift host Chicago over Calgary.
