Bruins defenseman Johnny Boychuk checked Toronto's Mikhail Grabovski hard into the boards in the third period. Moments later, the two teams got into a scrum on the ice that had to be broken up by the referees.
Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask ventured far from his net in the second period to try to swipe at a loose puck, but he ended up jousting with Toronto's Nikolai Kulemin as teammate Andrew Ference helped out.
