The Bruins return to work Thursday night, the start of the 2013-14 NHL season, with a roster that again places them among the pre-season favorites to win the Stanley Cup. It has become the routine, the expected, the moribund franchise of just a few years ago resurrected and reshaped as a perennial championship-contending heavyweight.
The trick to it all?
‘’It takes time and trust and success--and failure--to be able to come up with the right formula,’’ Peter Chiarelli said recently, prior to embarking on his eighth season as the club’s general manager. ‘’I am not saying we have the right formula.
