“You always like to have that,” coach Claude Julien said after the 3-2 win over the Kings. “There were times when we were struggling that it was costing us, leaving the zone early or stretching out and opening up seams. But when you’re making those decisions at the right time, you become a threat.”
Marchand has turned his game around in a season that started extraordinarily slowly for him. He wasn’t skating well. He was missing on chances. He was seeing bad bounces.
