MONTREAL - Shawn Thornton isn't known for using his hands to score, because too often they are otherwise occupied rearranging the faces of his opponents. But the Bruins strongman potted the winner yesterday in a 3-1 win over the Canadiens, and his second-period tally gave the 31-year-old winger a career-high five goals for the season.
