It just so happened that last Friday, after an off-day practice in Ottawa, Tim Thomas tried out several chest protectors. A day later, Vancouver’s Roberto Luongo suffered a hairline rib fracture when he was hit by a shot on the seam of his chest protector. It’s a feeling Thomas knows well. (Full article: 860 words)
