Milan Lucic was all smiles when he took to the TD Garden ice yesterday for his first morning skate since breaking his right index finger against Dallas Oct. 16. But that’s partly because he had eluded the piercing gaze of strength and conditioning coach John Whitesides , the resident whip-cracker for all in Black-and-Gold who are not eligible for action.
