The play is as simple as its term: dump-in. A player carries the puck over the red line and dumps it into the offensive zone, preferably behind opposing defensemen and into the corners. In turn, forwards can barrel in with speed, win puck battles, and cycle down low to create scoring chances on pressured goalies. (Full article: 860 words)
