Michael Ryder was not a fan favorite in Boston. He might even become Public Enemy No. 1 after his day with the Stanley Cup.
As the Cup was being prepared for a helicopter flight yesterday from St. John’s to Ryder’s hometown of Bonavista, Newfoundland, Ryder set it on a table, which collapsed. And it is now sporting a new dent, the Associated Press reported.
Ryder signed a two-year contract with the Dallas Stars in the offseason.
