A fund-raiser to support Nathaniel Bibaud, a 27-year-old Amesbury native who sustained a serious spinal cord injury last December while living in St. Croix, will be held on from 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 29 at The Governor’s Academy ice skating rink in Byfield. Bruins Skate for Nate will feature former greats Terry O’Reilly, Ray Bourque, Rick Middleton, and others, who will take the ice for an exhibition hockey game against area high school hockey players. General admission tickets are $20 for adults; $10 for students under 18, children under 6 free. Attendees will receive an official Boston Bruins Alumni Team/Skate for Nate commemorative program book featuring Bruins team member photos. Raffle prizes include UNH hockey game tickets and a weeklong vacation in St. Thomas, and a 50/50 Chuck-a-Puck contest will be a part of the event. Refreshments will be available for sale. Tickets are available at Amesbury Skate & Sport, John Farley Clothiers, Interlocks Salon & Day Spa, The Provident Bank, and Surfland Bait & Tackle.
