If the NHL and the NHL Players Association can agree on a new collective bargaining agreement, and the 2012-13 season starts on time, the Bruins will kick things off with a game against the Flyers Oct. 11 at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center.
It will be the second straight year the Bruins play the season opener against Philadelphia.
In their home opener, the Bruins will play Montreal at TD Garden Oct. 18.
On Dec. 17 at the Garden, the Bruins will host Los Angeles in a meeting of the two most recent Stanley Cup champions.
Later that month, the Bruins will kick off a three-game Western Canada swing that includes stops in Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton.
