Two captains out

TORONTO -- The Bruins will be without alternate captains Patrice Bergeron and Glen Murray tonight against the Maple Leafs. Bergeron skated with associate coach Marc Habscheid this morning, but his lower-body injury will keep him shelved for the fourth straight game.

Murray received treatment and didn't skate because of his groin injury, which he aggravated last night against Philadelphia. Murray originally injured his groin during practice on Feb. 5.

"It's tough," Murray said of the injury. "Just have to take it day to day."

* With the Bruins down to 11 healthy forwards, David Krejci looks like the No. 1 candidate for recall from Providence for tonight's game.

* The players had the morning off, so there was no media availability. The guess here is that Tim Thomas will start again in goal tonight.

* Bergeron and his father, who is visiting Toronto for the first time, plan to visit the Hockey Hall of Fame today prior to tonight's game.
