Mark Stuart, who missed the entire series against Manchester after aggravating his sprained right ankle, acknowledged he might have returned too soon.

Stuart played sparingly against Hartford in the previous series.

"I probably wasn't ready to come back," said Stuart. "But it's the playoffs. I wanted to play. I wasn't ready to come back, but I wanted to get out there."

Stuart said he probably would have played had the P-Bruins advanced past the Monarchs. Stuart plans to attend the prospects camp in July at Ristuccia Arena, and doesn't anticipate the ankle being a problem this summer or in camp.
