Time change
The Bruins will host Philadelphia on Saturday at TD Banknorth Garden at 4 p.m. instead of 7 p.m., avoiding a conflict with Game 3 of the World Series. The Bruins did the same thing last Saturday, playing Tampa Bay at 4 p.m. because of Game 6 of the ALCS.
The team is not planning to change the 7 p.m. puck drop of Thursday's home game against Chicago.
* The Bruins assigned Brandon Bochenski to Providence today for a two-game conditioning stint. The P-Bruins will play Hartford tomorrow, then travel to Lowell on Thursday. Bochenski is expected to rejoin the big club after Saturday's game.
