Bruins make deal

Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today that the team has acquired goaltender Alex Auld from the Phoenix Coyotes in exchange for left wing Nate DiCasmirro and the Bruins fifth round selection in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. Auld is expected to join
the team today.

Auld has appeared in nine games for Phoenix this year, tallying a record of 3-6-0 and a 3.54 goals-against average. He has also played in two games for Phoenix*s AHL affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage, where he had 1-1-0 record and a 2.53 goals-against average.

In his NHL career, the 6'4'' Auld has played in 117 games, maintaining a record of 49-50-2-11, a goals-against average of 2.94 and a save percentage of .901.
