Milan Lucic was given the day off today, but Claude Julien said he will be ready for tomorrow's matinee against Ottawa. Lucic took a heavy hit from Darcy Tucker in last night's game.

* Andrew Ference didn't skate today and might try for a twirl tomorrow morning. Julien said there's a chance Ference could travel with the team to Buffalo for Sunday's game.

* Zdeno Chara and Calgary's Robyn Regehr will visit Mozambique this summer as athlete-ambassadors for Right to Play. Chara will be in Mozambique from June 24 to 28, working with children and raising awareness for health promotion, disease prevention, conflict resolution, peace education, and community development. Chara will then travel to Tanzania and climb Mount Kilimanjaro to raise $100,000 (approximately $5 for each foot he climbs of the 19,300-foot mountain) for Right to Play.

* Expect Tim Thomas to start tomorrow.
