  1. Anyone know what channel these will be airing on in Boston? NESN will of course have the Red Sox game on Thursday.

  1. This series should be over quickly. How did the Bruins fare against Montreal during the regular season??

  1. Big Habs fan here! I'm coming down to Boston to visit family next week and was wondering what network was covering the series on TV? Anyone know? Thanks in advance, hoping for a great series! IMO, the Bruins have always been the Habs greatest rivals!

  1. I am assuming the games will be on Versus. Just so you know there is a good chance you can still order tickets online at ticketmaster, they were still available yesterday.

  1. What's the over/under for goals scored by Bruins in the series?
Alternative is to launch bodies at the Flying Foreigners.......

  1. Anyway these games will be on a national channel anywhere , I am living Houston, TX , originally from Marshfield - Tough to catch a Bruins game in Texas, if it ain't the Stars it don't exist.

  1. Go Habs Go. Wiching that Montreal will repeat is 1993 ride to the Stanley Cup!!! Sorry for the Bruins...

  1. I have the same issue as Maniax, though replace "Texas" with "Las Vegas" and replace "If it ain't the Stars it don't exist" with "What the hell is Hockey? LOL!"

  1. Good luck finding these games on national TV. Only Game 2 is slated for National TV (in the US that is) as it is on Versus. All games are shown on CBC in Canada. There's the possible chance that if this series goes later, and other series end quickly, that VS and NBC could pick up Games 5-7. But to start, the Habs/B's series gets the short end of the stick on the NHL's terrible TV package.

  1. We should all let NESN know that we'd like to see this game in HD, unlike the last away game, which was pushed over to Comcast channel 8, and looked like it was being broadcast from 1974.

  1. It may be too late this year, but next year I recommend you get the Center Ice Package, need digital cable. Being a hockey fan first and Bruins fan 2nd, it was well worth it. Somedays there were 13 games on from noon to midnight !! Wanting to view good hockey made the decision easy. I can't recall from last year, but I think they broadcast at least the first round playoff games. Tough to choose between wanting to see Scott Neidermyer or Brian Cambell raising the Cup this year.

  1. It is absolutely stupid if NESN or anyone else doesnt Air the game. what is it the 7th or 8th game of the season for the Sox? This is the Playoffs and when are the bruins probably ever gunna make it back again? I will extremely Mad if they dont air it locally or nationally

  1. The game will be aired on some random channel, worst case is grab a 12er and sit in-front of the espn gamecast. I just grabbed up some 19$ seats worst case is Im stuck at the game. Hey hockey needs a massive underdog story like the rockies of MLB last year, wish more than anything the Bruins beat Montreal.

  1. Taz, we have the Center Ice package but the B's are blacked out on it. The only option for the last away game (Ottawa) was Comcast Channel 8, and it looked like the Home Shopping Channel was doing the game. Does anyone else with HD remember that they promised "all games in HD"? They did -- but then the game in which they clinched a playoff spot looked like a WHA broadcast.

I'd love to see them stop blacking out the HNIC games when the B's are on it; I know NESN has the contract, but they could at least un-blackout Coaches Corner and Satellite Hotstove. The NESN broadcast team is the best around, but it would be fun to see what HNIC has to say about the B's every once in a while. It happens so seldom they should allow us to see it.

  1. Just like San Diego , Texas and Vegas. I live down here in St Augustine Florida. I am a little upset I won't be able to see the B's on TV .The NHL network should show all games even if they are delayed. Lived in Norwood for most of my life.

    Go B's

  1. From the Looks of it, NESN HD on Thursday will have the Bruins, and the Sox game will be on NESN-Plus. nesn.com has the channel lineups for each area of New England.

  1. Hey there San Diego livin - I'm a B's fan who used to live out there - go to Sports City in LaJolla - you can get the game on your own personal TV screen at the booth! And for those of you living in big cities, I'm sure there's at least ONE sports bar with the game on. I'm out here in nowhere Illinois so I'm screwed, but at least you guys can go somewhere with the CenterIce packages!

  1. you should really do a blog entry about the comparison to the 2004 season and all of the eerie similarities (i.e. the goal differential has been identical for each game of the series, except with the teams reversed; rookie goaltenders; Julien himself, and the conference rankings).

  1. For the first time I can remember, I'm optimistic at the end of a Bruins season. What a run. Can't wait for fall.

  1. I would like to extend the hand of camaraderie to all die hard Bruins fans. I am from Montreal and a Canadiens fan. In the past the Bruins were always number 2 on my hate list. Number one will always be the Leafs. Anyhow, I must say that I have gained emense respect for the Bruins this playoff year and would like to say that for the most part the Bruins controlled the series. IMO Montreal is "lucky" to have survived. I was impressed by the coaching staff and I was impressed by the work ethic. The team is on the right track and it won't be long before the Bruins see some success. BTW this is so out of charactyer for me. If my buddies knew I wrote this, I would be kindling for the next senseless post game riot.
