Lineup tweaks
Misread the bottom two defensive pairings. Andrew Alberts is skating with Andrew Ference, while Mark Stuart is paired with Shane Hnidy.
Here is the lineup:
Sturm-Krejci-Axelsson (Bergeron)
Lucic-Savard-Murray
Schaefer-Metropolit-Kessel
Reich-Sobotka (Nokelainen)-Thornton
Chara-Ward
Alberts-Ference
Stuart-Hnidy
Thomas
Auld
Fernandez

Please Please Please, Julien - Thornton OR Reich OR neither, but not both! Sobotka and Nokelainen hit more and more effectively than these two, and have more speed and offensive upside. Here's one, If Wideman's good to go. slot Alberts back in and move Ference up to forward. A Ference/Nokelainen/Sobotka 4th line would be effective. You can't roll 4 lines if Thornton AND Reich are involved. They are too much of a liability, especially against this particularly speedy Canadiens team and given their sparse minutes, it's obvious you think that as well. There should be no one on the B's bench you fear to throw out there.
I like the idea of ference upfront ,
change is good..
