Providence recalls Schaeffer

Providence has recalled defenseman Kevin Schaeffer from Reading, giving them 10 blue-liners for tomorrow's Game 6 against Portland.

Schaeffer has appeared in 31 games for Providence this season, scoring a goal and an assist. The former Boston University defenseman recorded a goal and three assists in 11 games for Reading.

Providence must beat Portland tomorrow at the Dunkin' Donuts Center to force Game 7 on Saturday.
