Profile: Undersized puck-moving defenseman who can start the rush and play sound positionally.

Notes: Selected 128th overall in the 2006 draft...Was returned to Halifax on Sept. 21, 2007, after a strong training camp... Was singled out by Claude Julien after a consistent preseason performance against New Jersey... Was Halifax captain in 2007-08... Signed amateur tryout agreements with Providence in each of the last two seasons... Is an outgoing personality who is considered a strong voice in the dressing room and a natural leader...
