CBC lands Milbury
Ex-Bruin Mike Milbury will be an analyst for Hockey Night in Canada on CBC in 2008-09, reuniting with Don Cherry, his former coach in Boston.
Milbury, who also worked for NESN, NBC, and TSN in 2007-08, will also contribute to Hockey Night in Canada's Hot Stove segment. No word on whether the former Bruin coach and Islanders executive will continue his NESN duties in 2008-09.
Last year, the opinionated Milbury raised eyebrows when he criticized Phil Kessel on NBC. On the air, Milbury has been the subject of good-natured barbs from his colleagues about some of his ill-advised trades while serving as Islanders GM.

Don Cherry and Mike Millbury. Now that is "REALITY TV". I would watch, regardless of who was playing, just to see those guys.If Millbury were playing today he would spend the whole game in the BOX .Don Cherry would be arrested and sued if he was behind the bench.A couple made in heaven. As for the Kessel statement, he is right ,but cant help but think he is jealus of his talent.I think Mr. Kessel has grown up and will do what is asked of him next year.
That's great Fluto!!! Though through public opinion here in Canada, Don Cherry's novelty has worn off....Pretty much everyone is tired of him....Especially where he ditches on Crosby and most maritime talent that make it to the show....He's pretty bias.....He's all Ontario!!!! If you ask me he's one sour Cherry!!! lol Cheers
Keith Jones also ripped on Kessel during the Canadiens series, something about crying in the pressbox... I hope he comes out this year and shuts them all up and scores a ton of goals
I'm surprised that Versus didn't try and nab him since he did such a great job on NBC especially on the January 1st pond hockey game in Buffalo. He has great charisma and isn't afraid of basing under achivers.
