Shame on management for this one. They knew going in to this what it would take to get a Hossa or Campbell and did absolutely nothing to dump salary. Murray sucks and noone wants his sloth #%s so why are we sitting on his salary. Get a bag of pucks for him before his stock goes down even more! Thanks for another disappointing year in the Hub. Campbell went to Chicago for WAY too much money...we don't need another big money defender, we need goals.

They can buy out Murray's contract after they sign a big name, if they can't land the free agent then they'll need what little offense Murray has left. They can be 10% over the cap, as long as it comes back down by the start of the season, i.e. buying out Murray. BK you don't know what you're talking about, and you call yourself a fan.

Chiarelli does nothing while all of the other free agents sign elsewhere. The bruins sucked us all in again.

The Rags can have Redden. That contract is horrible for a player who has been on the decline for the past few years.

PC wouldn't be dumb enough to go after Redden. It was pretty clear after Chara came here that Ottawa had kept the wrong guy. Leave it to the Rangers (shockingly just like the NYY) to overpay for a big name. You can have Redden.

After that, the only teams that are making HUGE noise are those that are desperate to get in the playoffs (Columbus, Tampa, Chicago).

The B's are not desperate to get into the playoffs anymore they need more scoring to get deep into the playoffs. I hope they can get Hossa but not for a billion dollars like EDM might pay. How about Huselius as a 2nd line winger?

yeah well there were a lot of celtics fans that thought we gave up too much for garnett too... bottom line is, if they spend the money and the bruins win the stanley cup just ONCE, its worth it... trust me.
