Stuart re-signs with Detroit

D Brad Stuart re-signs with Detroit, agreeing to a four-year extension worth an annual $3.75 million.

Analysis: The former Bruin was a solid No. 4 defenseman during the Cup run, paired with up-and-comer Niklas Kronwall. Pretty pricey for a fourth defenseman, but who's to question GM Ken Holland's decision-making?
