According to this story in the Kingston Whig Standard, Bruins prospect Jamie Arniel pleaded guilty to impaired driving. Arniel was ordered to pay a $1,500 (Canadian) fine and is prohibited from driving for two years.
On June 22, the night he was drafted by the Bruins in Ottawa, Arniel went out drinking and caused significant damage when he drove his parents' car into several parked vehicles and a stop sign.
ANALYSIS: In every sense, Arniel is a lucky young man, considering nobody was hurt during the incident.

Yeah, Canada does not mess around with their drinking and driving laws. Fifteen hunge, plue 2 years no license?! Maybe the states should adopt such strong consequences and this is coming from somebody who was a donkey at the age of 18, and made the same mistake.
