Dave Lewis is out of work again. (Jim Davis/Globe Staff)

Dave Lewis, shown the door after only one season in Boston, is looking for employment again.

Lewis, hired by Marc Crawford as an assistant in Los Angeles last summer, will not be returning to the Kings in 2008-09.

WHAT IT MEANS: Tough break for Lewis, being under the employ of yet another rebuild last year. Might be hard for Lewis to find another coaching gig after back-to-back one-year stints.

  1. When are people going to realize that he's not even a good coach. Look at the team he had in Detroit. I could have been their head coach and they would have done just fine...

I can't say I feel bad for Lewis and his WWII-era Chancellor mustache...

  1. What someone needs to do is set him and Steve Casper up as the head and assistant head coach of a team and turn it into a reality show.
