Zdeno Chara and Georges Laraque tangled twice last year. (Jim Davis/Globe Staff) |
* Heavyweight Georges Laraque, now wearing the bleu, blanc, et rouge, talks about fighting, Zdeno Chara, and not getting killed.
Now that the ex-Pittsburgh tough guy will be playing the Bruins a possible six times per season instead of four, how about Laraque vs. Chara, Round 3?
* Mike Cammalleri, who now makes his living in Calgary, reveals his family's history of making tomato sauce.
I'll put my recipe against Cammalleri's every time: coat the pan with olive oil, throw in 2-3 garlic cloves, then four plum tomatoes. Splash of red wine, let it cook down, then add a can of crushed tomatoes. Add a few splashes of milk. Season with salt, pepper, red pepper, oregano, basil.

If Laraque does fight Chara again, I hope a punch actually gets thrown and we don't get a repeat of Round 1: matching delay of game penalties.
Laraque always comes across as such a likeable guy. It's ironic he's probably the most feared man in the game! And, NO!... I for one don't want to see Chara off the ice for 5 minutes, unless of course somene gets Koivu to drop his gloves.
