Petteri Nokelainen is back in No. 29, the number he wore while with the Islanders and back home when he played in the Finnish Elite League. Alex Auld wore No. 29 last season.

He's also planning to go back to the no-visor look, which he debuted at the end of 2007-08. Nokelainen had always gone with a shield as an NHLer before then.
This summer, Nokelainen's workout group included Cup winner Valtteri Filppula. Nokelainen focused on his skating and said he's hoping for more ice time this season, although he acknowledged there would be no guarantees.
ANALYSIS: Nokelainen will be in a good battle for a job in training camp, given the bodies the Bruins have projected to be third- and fourth-line players. Nokelainen's flexibility (he can play center and wing) will be an advantage, as well as his experience last season when injuries gave him more of an opportunity. But Nokelainen is not guaranteed a job out of camp.
