Schaefer missing

Posted by Fluto Shinzawa, Globe Staff September 26, 2008 09:34 PM

Peter Schaefer has missed several shifts in the third period. We're a bit far away from the ice here at Joe Louis Arena, but it doesn't look like Schaefer is on the bench.

Will check on his status after the game.

  1. Hey Fluto,

Why don't you try being a little more descriptive when you say Lucic is not as "electric" as last year. We as hard-core Bruins fans do not have the privilege of seeing them play everyday so when you make comments like that, you need to explain yourself. How is he is not as electric? Physically? Talent wise? Mentally? If you are going to be a true sports writer, you need to be more illustrative in your blogs. Sorry to give you a hard time,( see "One Leg Down" comments) but I feel you need to step up your game, (as you feel Lucic should) if you're going to make it in the big leagues.

  1. The Detroit announcers on the radio actually mentioned how impressed they were with Lucic last night.
