Four invites

The Bruins have invited F Yuri Cheremetiev, D Scott Fletcher, D Doug Krantz, and G Kevin Nastiuk to training camp. A bit on each player:

* Cheremetiev, 19, has played for Halifax (QMJHL) for the last three seasons, skating alongside Andrew Bodnarchuk and Brad Marchand. The 6-foot-1, 189-pound Cheremetiev scored 13 goals and 16 assists in 69 games last year.

* Fletcher, 20, played for Niagara (OHL) last season, appearing in 44 games while recording one assist and 153 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-2, 198-pound defenseman is from Haslett, Mich.

* The 25-year-old Krantz played at Cornell for four years, with 2007-08 being his senior season. He was a teammate of Byron Bitz for his first three seasons. Krantz (6-foot-3, 195 pounds) put up a 4-3--7 line in 36 games last year.

* Nastiuk, 23, played his junior hockey with Medicine Hat (WHL). The 6-foot-1, 170-pound Edmonton native split time last season between Albany (AHL) and Florida (ECHL).
