Budaj tonight

Posted by Fluto Shinzawa, Globe Staff October 9, 2008 01:35 PM

Peter Budaj will start in goal for Colorado tonight. Budaj appeared in 35 games last season, while Jose Theodore made 53 appearances.

* Paul Stastny is still using a wood stick. Other players still using wood include Ottawa's Jason Spezza and Montreal's Roman Hamrlik. Stastny said he goes through about one Sher-Wood per game, with the stick taking most of its abuse during faceoffs. "I'm so used to it," Stastny said. "I don't have the hardest shot in the world. But it's all about where you put it."

  1. To bad we couldn't get Raycroft tonight. I would have loved to see the Bruins light him up.

  1. Hahah RJ do you remember when Raycroft was on Toronto and the Bruins had talked about shooting high glove on him? Raycroft made a retort, and then we scored 3 top shelf goals on him the next game. Hilarious stuff.
