Morning briefing
Good morning from TD Banknorth Garden, where the Bruins are preparing to play the Thrashers tonight. Atlanta is coming off a 5-3 loss to Detroit and ex-Thrasher Marian Hossa.
Some tidbits from the pre-game notes:
* Atlanta forward Marty Reasoner took a shot off the knee last night. No word on whether the ex-Bruin will be ready for tonight's game.
* Forward Mike Hoffman is on injured reserve. The Scituate native has a hand injury that has shelved him for seven games.
* All 30 teams will be in action today for the first time since the 2005-06 season opener.
* Justin St. Pierre and Kerry Fraser will be the referees tonight. Derek Amell and Andy McElman will be the linesmen.
