  1. I wonder how many "What is PJ even doing on the first line, let alone the Bruins!" comments we're going to have.

So to answer any questions before they even come up, with only 1 D, it's nice to have a solid defensive forward playing on your powerplay. That way Bergy, Ryder and Savard can focus on being ridiculous on offense.

I'd love to see these units this season. I need hockey now.

  1. I feel a trade in the air. Wheelers style and young future is more suitable for Bs style than Mr Kessel. For all you number crunchers 2.2 mill for Kessel. My bet is they will sit him, get the phones ringing, see how wheeler does and count the wins and loses.Bottom line, I think they would like to move him.

  1. nhl1 it's tough for me to predict what'll happen with trades and such, but Chiralli wouldn't trade Kessel last year for Hossa (as Kess' name was on the list) yet we're gonna trade Kessel out to make room for a yet unproven player? Mmkay. And who are we going to get in return for Kessel? Somebody with no salary hit? A future pick?

  1. Hockeybuzz is not always the most accurate place for rumors. And to add to what AL said: When he gets around to shooting he's got a damned good shot, and he's one of the teams top four or five passers.

Is anyone else seeing a potential Lucic-Krejci-Wheeler third line?

  1. AL, He is not doing it for the Bs brass.Wheeler is in this picture right now and things could change. How well Wheeler does in the next few games will tell the Bs what they are willing to give him up for Kessel. If Wheeler didnt have a good camp I doubt Kessel would be sitting tonight.
