Bruins, 3-1

Posted by Fluto Shinzawa, Globe Staff November 17, 2008 08:57 PM

With a nasty curl job capped by a roofer, Michael Ryder has given the Bruins a 3-1 lead at 14:11 of the second period.

After taking a pass from Aaron Ward, Ryder went one-on-one with Pavel Kubina. Ryder curled around the defenseman, who had dropped to one knee, then canned a top-shelfer over Vesa Toskala.
