B's unveil third jersey
The Bruins have some new threads to go along with their newfound winning ways. The team released its third jersey and uniform to the public this morning, showing off a predominantly black look that features the team's alternate logo as the main crest, with the Spoked-B on the shoulders.

The Bruins will wear the new sweater for 16 games during the remainder of the year, including Friday's "Black Friday" against the Islanders at the Garden. The first 10,000 fans in attendance will receive a commemorative black t-shirt, and the Bruins are encouraging all fans to come attired in black for the game. According to the team, the Day-After-Thanksgiving matinee has been a Bruins tradition since the 1990-91 season.

So, what do you think? Personally, I like the look, mostly because I'm a fan of the new bear logo, which patrols the top of this little blog. In addition to being a throwback to the original B's crest, it looks much, much more fierce than the one featured on the team's previous third jersey. That bear that looked a little sleepy. This one looks ready to do some damage.
