Hope you can all read this fantastic piece by Brian Falla about his late father Jack and the Bacon Street Omni, the Fallas' backyard rink.
Simply superb. Captures his old man perfectly, and explains the many layers of meaning their rink had to their family.

Thanks for posting that Fluto. Great piece about a great man. Can't wait for new years day winter classic then B's vs Pens for the night cap should be a great day of Hockey.
Jack Falla was part of the pond hockey documentary... A must see by all hockey fans(young and old)..I can't wait to lace them up, back on the pond on new years day! Happy News Years Fluto and Kevin Paul!
