Lucic, Hnidy out

Milan Lucic (undisclosed injury) and Shane Hnidy (eye) will not play tonight.

The Bruins have not called up any help from Providence, so it's assumed that Aaron Ward (charley horse), who skated this morning, will be back in the lineup. Also, with Lucic out, the Bruins are down to 12 healthy forwards.

* The Eastern reserves will be announced at noon. It's assumed that there will be healthy Boston representation.

Hey Fluto, is there going to be another Young Stars game again this year? If so, when would we get word on that Roster. I can see Wheeler and Hunwick making the trip to Montreal as well...

Can anyone get a picture of Hnidy? I'd like to see what that shiner looks like a few days after considering when he came back to the bench during the game his eye was already swollen shut.

No problem. I believe they are doing a Sophomores vs. Rookies format too which means Lucic could be eligible. I am pretty sure that is accurate.

I was surprised Hnidy came back at all after taking a puck to the face... but that's an NHL'er for you.

The B's survived the injuries last year, let's hope they can do it again.
