  1. thanks Fluto, read the headline and figured we did something stupid like trading the 2 of them to Montreal

  1. ap3lovr, I thought they were traded to the Habs, too and freaked out for a second.

  1. Coming back in return: Kyle Chipchura, Patrice Brisebois, and three sacks of Schwarz's smoked meat :)

I saw that and also thought trade for half a second.
Nearly wet an article of clothing.

  1. Did they forget about Krejci??? The dude is top 20 in the league in scoring...

  1. My thought is that Krejci will end up being invited to the All-Star game- as a replacement to someone who can't make it. Only reason I can think of that he is not taking part in the rookies/sophomore's game.

  1. Krejci is a third year player so he is not eligible for the rookie/sophomore game.

  1. I didn't think Krejci played enough games 2 years ago to accrue a season and was still considered a rookie last year, thereby making him a sophomore this year. He did appear in games 2 years ago I guess, but still.

  1. krejci only played a handful of games that first season as a late season call up to gain nhl experience, not enough to qualify for a rookie season. not to mention that last year, his actual rookie season, he spent a good portion down in providence... its definitely a snub

  1. A quick search shows Krejci only appeared in 6 games in 06/07 and would have been considered a rookie last year. Bit of an oversight on the league's behalf. He deserves to be there over Looch.

  1. Anyone who thought this was a trade is an absolute idiot and should not be a hockey fan.

  1. Krejci - yes, definitely a snub, but another snub on the rookie end is Matt Hunwick. i mean, w.t.f. - other than l.a.'s drew doughty, which rookie blueliner has been better? can someone explain this to me?
