Shawn Thornton: Not a fan of mustaches. (Barry Chin / Globe Staff)

Business is picking up around Fight Cub! The Bruins engaged in their sixth multi-fight game of the season last night as part of a 6-0 shellacking of the Anaheim Ducks. Plenty to discuss, so let's dive right in. As always, leave your comments.

Thornton vs. Parros

The expert's take

  • Fluto Shinzawa, Boston Globe: Shawn Thornton vs. George Parros after the Anaheim tough guy runs over Marc Savard. Long fight between the ex-teammates. Savard off to the room.

The not-so expert's take

  • Chris Forsberg, Boston.com: It's a crime to hit a 'stache as sweet as the one Parros is sporting, but Thornton more than holds his own despite giving up four inches to the big man. With a handful of jersey, Parros lands some quality blows early, but Thornton scores a takedown reminiscent of when Hulk Hogan "slammed" Andre the Giant at WrestleMania III (which is to say, it wasn't really a slam, but more of a slow dump to the floor).

Locker room reaction

  • Shawn Thornton, Bruins: "I just get the mitts off and hope for the best. I didn't really have a game plan going in. I didn't really think about it before the game. I've seen him fight a lot. He's a big, strong man. He does good against all the big guys, so I knew I'd have my hands full, that's for sure."

Tale of the Tape

The expert's take

  • Fluto Shinzawa, Boston Globe: Big-time flareup between Milan Lucic and Mike Brown. Brown lands a straight right to start, goes down, then gets tagged by a round of bombs. Lucic points at Brown and yells something nasty as the two sit in the box.

The not-so expert's take

  • Chris Forsberg, Boston.com: It's hard to spot any sort of cheap shot on the YouTube video (below), but, man, you don't want to make Lucic angry. The Bruins' fiery winger is unrelenting after dragging Brown to the ice leading to a big ol' scrum. Maybe he's been watching too much UFC.

Locker room reaction

  • Claude Julien, Bruins: "From what I heard, (Brown) got a cheap shot to start off. I guess that's what set (Lucic) off."
